Business Analyst Manager

Job Description

The Business Analysis Manager is responsible for managing and leading the Business Analysis Team for The Grand Ho Tram Strip. Through dynamic and engaging leadership this position is responsible for sound business practices that are ethical, timely and proactive. Establish and maintain the budget that meet and exceed the expectations of diverse stakeholders; Management Company, Hotel Owners. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with team, finance team and company policies, practices and procedures, as well as within the framework and intent of the Vision of The Grand Ho Tram Strip property.

- As member of hotel leadership team responsible for developing and executing hotel business plan to maximize long-term returns to Hotel Owners, Management Company and partners. 

- Responsible for management of (along with VP/CFO) of the Hotel’s and Gaming budget. 

- Directs preparation of yearly budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification. 

- Identify profit opportunities, trends or business risks through ongoing business analysis

- Collect data, analysis and valuate the financial implications of business decisions.

- Owner relations – support VP/CFO in maintaining pro-active owner relations through on-going communications and maximizing financial returns.

- Local hiring, and training when necessary employees to ensure high job satisfaction levels. 

- Financial Reporting – responsible for completing and analyzing monthly financial results for the improvement opportunities

Job Requirement

- Degree in Accounting or Finance required.

- Minimum of 5 years business analysis management experience

- Thorough knowledge of local regulatory financial requirements as well as for the Management Company and Hotel Owners is required.

- Works well with The Ownership and the Management team providing support and jumping in wherever needed.

- Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation and capital budgeting.

- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and other financial systems. 

- Knowledge of Gaming, experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Cenium and Cadena software

- Prior hotel experience preferred.

- Fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese 

- Strong analyzes data from multiple sources, write budget and reports.

- Ability to act on and understand a sense of urgency.

- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
