OFFICIENCE - Business Analyst

In order to deliver value to our customers, we need to understand fully what their needs are. We also need to understand their vision, mission, values and priorities. Business analysts are responsible for this understanding and for passing it on to other members of the team.

Business and functional analysis

  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis.

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with clients and deliver the functional requirements, use cases, and Interface designs

  • Define and validate with customers user acceptance criteria

Team work

  • Proactively communicate functional requirements to other members of the team

  • Assist other members of the company to interact effectively with the customers

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to plan and breakdown the work into valuable deliverables for the client

  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure traceability between requirements and test cases

Business Development

  • Contributes to the business unit response process for RFPs, write quotations.

  • Work with the Business Manager for Business analysis: demands, portfolio, pricing, presale/pilots

  • Communicate with clients on innovations or improvements that the company can realize for them

Methodology and Practice

  • Defines, measures and optimizes Business Analysis methodology/practice for onshore and offshore models

  • Raise any risks related to the customer relationship

  •  

    - Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Communications and Engineering or equivalent.

    - Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French & English) and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group and executives.

    - Capable of drawing a workflow to explain how users work

    - Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Redmine

    - Customer focused, strong team player, analytical and critical thinking, open-minded, pays attention to details, self-starter

    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    - Good command of English and French (written and oral skills)

    - Superior interpersonal skills and time management skills with ability to work with multiple team with proven track record. Ability to make decisions.

    - Have the capabilities to drive and challenge clients on their assumptions about their business requirements and business process.
