Vietnam Logistics Analyst

The Logistics Analyst will be a key member on the Vietnam Logistics team. He/She will be tasked to manage various business support functions to help support and enable a smooth operation of both Raw Materials and/or the Finished Goods warehouse operations. Key business support functions includes inventory management processes, lot storage model definition and management, to be trained as the super user of key warehouse systems and tools, and also taking the lead as the site control champion for the team, to help put in place robust business processes and to coordinate and support various internal auditing events. To ensure 3rd party logistics contractor meeting all Intel standard requirement and compliance to Intel Safety, Quality, Control and Operational Standards at all times. Additional responsibilities are, but limited to:

  • Assists and supports various local and regional working groups or projects.
  • Responds to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur.
  • Warehouse operations processes and control.
  • Support Logistics internal and external customer needs.
  • Facilitate and develop problem-solving solutions, and process improvement.
  • Support 3rd party logistics related administration that inclusive of purchase order /Shopping Basket, contingent workforce policy, training etc.
  • Project participation and support. best known method sharing with colleagues and virtual factory (worldwide) counterparts.

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Management and/or Supply Chain/Logistics/General engineering. An M.B.A. is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Analytical and/or problem solving skills

- Proficient in English Communication (oral and written)

- Negotiation and/or influencing

- Business competence

- Familiarity with Logistic operations, system and interdependencies, decision making, business acumen, and contractor and/or supplier management knowledge

- Import, export, customs, trade rules, warehouse transportation operations and warehouse management systems

- PC literate

- Skills in Microsoft Office* applications

- Organization and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment coupled with initiative and in an organized manner with minimal supervision in an ambiguous environment

- Ability to interface professionally with all levels of personnel, outside contacts, vendors, and suppliers

- Any IT related experience would be advantage, for example, SAP, Rosetta Net, supply chain tools and database etc.
