- Assesses the client's business needs and business processes

- Confident to ask questions and interview the clients to capture all relevant knowledge

- Works with Project Managers and Technical Architects to ensure that the requirements are accurate

- Documents the business requirements in detail, with all assumptions included

- Serves as an internal point of contact for Development whenever requirements need to be clarified
