ANZ Business Analyst
The Business Analyst is responsible for providing the project with research, analysis, evaluation, execution and other support activities as directed by the Project Management Office.
- Conduct research on project specific areas that will result in improved understanding of their environment, process, risks, constraints, potential and value and allow detailed analysis to be conducted.
- Conduct analysis of researched information for project specific areas that will result in information/recommendations that can be easily interpreted for management consideration and action.
- Contributes to the creation of project documentation (eg reports, plans etc)
Research and analysis in the context of a project management environment will focus on areas such as process improvement, cost reduction, best practice, streamlining via the use of technology and the implementation of efficient work processes.
Participates in team meetings, discussions and other activities. Puts forward ideas for continuous improvement that aids the project or the business.
Essential Experience Profile:
Summarise the pre-requisite skills and knowledge required to perform this position, as well as any formal qualifications or training needed.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Projects)
• Good working knowledge of MIS and its business applications
• Sound research, analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated time management & prioritisation skills
• Open & honest attitude aligned to the ANZ Values
• Good communication skills (including verbal and written English)
• Strong focus on the need for attention to detail & accuracy with the need to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver professional results in a constantly changing environment
• Ability to work as part of a team
