IT Business Analyst

MAIN DUTIES
You will work closely with Western based clients and our UK based team to assess and capture project requirements and work with Project/Team Leaders to develop tasks.
Below is a summary of the job's responsibilities but these will vary between projects:
- Liaise with clients and act as interface between Vietnamese Development team and western clients
- Requirements gathering and analysis
- Translate client requirements into highly specified project briefs/technical specifications
- Research business and technical solutions
- Work with team to identify potential solutions to client requirements and to develop tasks
- Work with client and team to ensure requirements are met
- Planning and working flexibly to deadlines
- Produce presentations, user manuals/guidelines and other documentation
- Reporting

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Graduated with minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Business Analyst after university in a similar role, preferably in an IT environment
• English language: strong technical reading & writing skills essential. Must also have a high level of conversational English
• Knowledge of software development processes/life cycles
• Basic experience/knowledge of programming languages preferably including Java and .NET
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Understanding/knowledge of process flows and user requirements capturing
• Ability to work with multiple clients
• Ability to cope with conflicting demands and to prioritise tasks
• Familiarity with Visio (diagram tools) and MS Excel abilities (Macros)
• Self motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience of working with western clients
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Object orientated analysis and design
• Familiar with UML for use case and sequence diagrams
• Ability to write release notes and define a projects' deliverables
• Knowledge of SQL
• Previous usage of a content management or document management system
• Graphic skills (e.g. Photoshop, GIMP or Flash)
• Video capture tools for recording process on a computer (e.g. Camtasia)
